Like all of us, Mike and Debbie had to choose where to live to raise thier family. They chose Burleson County because of the safety, beauty, and bright future. They chose wisely. |

Mike married Debbie Womble, daughter of Bub and Nada Harden Womble, in 1987 in Caldwell. He graduated from Texas A&M University and taught government and economics at Caldwell High School. Mike and Debbie have been and are very active in thier community. Mike believes, "Talk is Cheap, anybody can talk, if we are going to get things done we have to be willing to sweat" and has demonstrated that belief in his leadership style. Mike's leadership style is to work side-by-side with others. He did it before he was elected and has continued since.

| Mike and Debbie are the proud parents of two daughters, Keesha and Elizabeth. Keesha is a graduate of Caldwell High and attended Texas A&M University. Elizabeth is an active sophomore at Caldwell High and is a member of the HoneyBees. |
